New Sakya Temples Bloom Like Flowers in Qinghai

An interesting case study in the financial aspects of new temple construction is provided by the Tsunda Monastery Retreat Center, in Qinghai Province.

On the strength of an approximately USD $70,000 bank loan, the lamas were able to accomplish that which you see in these pictures.

Rains so damaged the original center, that a decision was made to interrupt the retreat on grounds of health and safety.
