Daily Tibetan Astrology: September 9, 2009

Chinese 20th, M-T-K 20th. Bird, Zon, Black 2. As I warned you yesterday, today is 9-9-09, and if you stop and think, it will be a very, very, very long time before we see that again. So, if numerology is your thing, today is quite special. There are probably going to be quite a considerable number of Chinese weddings today, but the Mewa Black 2 expressly warns against marriage today. Also, the Parkha Zon indicates one should avoid parties, entertainments, or amusements -- and what good is a wedding without a wedding party? The reason why we're going to see so many weddings is because "9" in the Chinese language is a homophone for "long lasting." That's why you see things like "99 Market" in Chinatown, meaning "doubly long lasting." Hence, today is triply long lasting. In Hong Kong, "9" is also a bit sexy (something naughty in Cantonese).

This is a good day for signing contracts. The best thing you can do today is dispel obstacles. Just let them evaporate. You can also usefully instruct mentally ill people on this day. If you're going to incorporate a new business, today is a good day to file the papers. Avoid large gatherings, such as shows, and don't go out at night.
