Daily Tibetan Astrology: January 1, 2010

Chinese 16th, M-T-K  16th. Snake, Khen, White 1. HAPPY NEW YEAR! If you had told me I would live to see this day, I would've never believed you, but here, rather unbelievably, it is: the first day of 2010. Where are the personal rocket ships? Anyway, today is baden, so no prayer flags today. Today is also zin phung. Watch out for an undersea volcano (really... how many times does that come up as a practical issue? Who writes this stuff?) From a Kalachakra perspective, today is not auspicious: it is given over to obstacles. From a Tsurluk perspective, today is an auspicious day in which to engage in joyful activities. So, glass half empty, glass half full... take your choice. January is a strange month this year: four baden days. Expect major luck changes to kick in today, and carry you like a sail all the way up to February 14th. Consult our extended discussion of 2010 astrology by clicking here.

I have no idea whatsoever what this means,
even it has been explained to me.
